Jamac has been awarded 2 bridges in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Angus L. MacDonald and MacKay Bridge. Jamac will be the general contractor for Angus L. MacDonald bridge and will be working with Dexter Construction for MacKay bridge. The owner for both bridges is Halifax Harbor Bridge. Jamac is performing membrane removal on 4,000 sqm area and 40K hydroblasting on 1,000 sqm area, as well as application of inorganic zinc for MacKay Bridge. MacDonald Bridge Cable Bent is a lead abatement project using steel grit recovery system and application of epoxy. Construction will begin in the summer and expected to continue until late fall.
